My Favorite Pictures from Nicaragua
In July Katie and I had the thrill of traveling to Nicaragua with Christian Relief Fund. It was CRF’s first group trip to Nicaragua. Our plan is to take a group of college students back in the summer of 2017. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the trip…
This was my dinner the first night!
We spent the first few days working in Leon and our hotel was on the Pacific Ocean.
This is Stanly. He’ll turn 4 in October. He goes to school in Leon and needed a sponsor. So, our family sponsored him!
Some of our team built a house for a family here. This was the most eye opening experience of the trip.
The church building in Muy Muy
The teachers in Muy Muy put together a presentation for our group. This is the kids acting out the time Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead.
On our final day in Muy Muy we got to hang out with some of the local kids.
I took this from the balcony of our hotel in Matagalpa, a beautiful city in the mountains.
This is Jonathan, one of the kids in Muy Muy. He was awesome!

Me and Katie on our final workday
We ate at a restaurant on the rim of an old volcano on our way back to Managua before flying home.
